A new addition to the ongoing foray into grinders, the Split grinder poses two solid forms joining at a subtle, grain-matched midpoint. The elongated body has a satisfying weight, and is simple to use; just pull the top off and fill with salt, pepper, dried herbs or spices. Coarseness is adjustable via a wheel on the underside. Ceramic and stainless steel components ensure a consistent grind and won’t rust over years to come. This special set is made from locally grown red oak that was gifted to me
